Projects:

We used to have Annual Salad Luncheons, but do to the age of several of our members, it became too much for those who wee able to work, so we discontinued doing those.  

We used to sell candy every year, but do to much being said that candy is not good for us, and so many not able to help, we quit doing this.

Today our main fund raising project is selling little key chain Bibles containing over 5,000 pages which one can actually read.   This is our ongoing project.

History:

One of our greatest accomplishments is that our Mt. Carmel Woman’s Club was instrumental in building and supplying our beautiful town LIBRARY!  We had fund raisers and worked hard to get this done.

We have recycled for years, and are still doing it.  Much work has gone into this.  

Recently we purchased a bench to be used by walkers and joggers on Oak Street.

We bought two leaf vacs for the city.  The city is maintaining them in a wonderful way, and they bought another one.
